Program Length: 6 Months - 624 Clock Hours / 21 Semester Hours
Schedule: 3 Days per Week
- Day Program: 8:00am-5:00pm
- Evening Program: 6:00pm-10:00pm + Every Other Saturday
A Network Administrator usually configures and manages an existing computer network. In this career, professionals are responsible for customizing networks to an individual company's needs by connecting the necessary hardware and software to the network. Once the network is configured, the Administrator adds computer programs, such as e-mail, that the company's employees use on a daily basis.

This program is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in the technical areas described in our Computer Support Tech program; plus the following additional areas:

- Troubleshooting of Cisco switches and routers

- Network Administration
- IT Security Specialist
Successful graduates of this program will feel confident entering the professional world of Network Administration and Computer Security after gaining plenty of personal instruction in CCI’s state-of-the-art computer labs. Students will learn to assess the computer and information security needs of small and large computer and network systems, recommend safeguard solutions and assist in managing the implementation and maintenance of LAN and WAN systems.
