Award Winning Job Placement Assistance Office

CCI Training Center has won top awards from the local Workforce Boards for the highest job placement rate. Be assured that you are working with knowledgeable placement industry professionals who assist you with your employment search. Students meet with CCI Training Counsellors and Placement Counsellors frequently while in school. These counsellors are aware of the employment market and assist the students in preparing for employment. Job placement assistance is a lifelong service offered by CCI Training Center. Upon graduation you may use this service as often as desired.

Available Services

Some of the Job Placement Assistance services provided by the professional placement staff at CCI Training Center include:

  • Placement Office

    Local Veterans Employment Representatives (LVER) and Disabled Veterans Outreach Program (DVOP) representatives can help veterans with benefits. These representatives can meet with veterans at their local One-Stop Career Center to assist with finding a job, training or education assistance.

  • Placement Evaluation

    Pre-enrollment and post-graduation skills assessment and consultation are available.

  • Student Support Website

    CCI offers a graduate-only website with job listings, employment information links and career opportunity information.

  • Job Fairs

    Counsellors advise graduates of job fairs, assist in preparation and assist in company introductions at job fairs.

  • Internships

    CCI may have opportunities for students to work and learn at the school while involved in various projects. The placement office can arrange various experience building opportunities in the industry upon request.

  • Externships

    An externship will be required with the Medical Coding and Billing Program. Other externships may be arranged through the Job Placement Assistance office.

  • Networking Opportunities

    The Job Placement Assistance office will announce various networking opportunities where students may be introduced to employers or other opportunities.

  • Resume Assistance

    Students and graduates may take advantage of skilled resume preparation services, computers, word processing, and professional resume evaluation.

  • Interviewing Assistance

    Counsellors offer guidance and preparation assistance that increases interviewing confidence and skills.

  • Career Assessment

    Pre-enrollment and post-graduation career assessment and guidelines are provided by placement advisors, school instructors and program managers.

  • Post-Employment Job Skills Support

    Graduates are continuously supported with technical consultation and on-the-job problem solving consultation by CCI Training Center instructors, counsellors and management personnel. Graduates may always use the resources and knowledge of CCI Training Center while on the job.
